CHAIR OF FRENCH STUDIES
The Department of French Studies, based in the School of Modern
Languages, is seeking to fill the Chair of French Studies following
Professor Keith Reader's appointment to a Chair at the University of
Glasgow. We welcome applications in any field of French Studies,
but are particularly interested in areas which would support current
research strengths (area studies, film and media studies, modern
literature). You will be expected to act as a research leader for
the Department, and to contribute significantly to postgraduate
teaching at School and Faculty levels.
Salary will be at an appropriate point in the Professorial salary
scale.
