Summary: Applications are invited from candidates with research experience in medieval French language or literature, or a cognate discipline, to work on an AHRB-funded project to produce an electronic, synoptic edition of the 12th-century romance Partonopeus de Blois. Knowledge of Old French and good IT skills are essential. The directors of the project, under whose supervision the research assistant will work, are Dr Penny Eley and Dr Penny Simons. This post is available for 6 months from 1 May 2003 or as soon as possible thereafter. There is a possibility that this post might be extended for a further period.
