Lectureship in French Studies School of Languages, Literature and Arts Queen's University Belfast

This post is available from 1 September 2002. The successful applicant will play a full part in the teaching, research and administrative activities of both French Studies and the School as a whole. Applications are invited from candidates with research specialisms in all areas of modern French studies, though preference may be given to those qualified in linguistics or applied language studies, cinema or cultural studies.
Applicants must hold a primary degree and a PhD, at or near completion, in a relevant area of French Studies. A proven ability to contribute at a significant level to the research profile of French Studies and native or near-native fluency in French and English are also essential. Some teaching experience at tertiary level is desirable.
